Yeah, my dad mentioned that in South Korea they had some first-gen Landcruiser sixes, and Chevy parts were a bolt-up match for the most part. A fine line between influence and stealing... it's back that way a ways.

Oh it was no secret that the F engine was based on the 235, in fact it was built under license.
